Bowl Like the Pros Academy for 2008 was held August 14th at Galaxy Lanes. It was attended by 58 senior & junior bowlers from Flint and the surrounding area. The Pros included Brian Voss, Norm Duke, Bob Learn, Jr., and Diandra Asbaty. They were assisted by local coaches, Jim Kitto, Rich Warner, and Gary LaClair.

Dinner Association President Brad Lokken was honored July 24 at the President's dinner. Other guests of honor included Past Presidents and Hall of Fame Members. Also, Rory Kalanquin was presented with the Bowler of the Year award, and Chris Brady was recognized for his record score of 2354 in all-events at the State Tournament,
